Fresh, slightly bitter, and spicy with a finish of dried nuts.

Excellent for cooking and frying in a wide variety of recipes including soups, baking and roasting.

2023 was a hot and dry one year. During the winter, mild temperatures and high levels of rainfall were recorded. In the spring, abnormally high temperatures affected flowering, leading to significant production losses. The harvest started early, in early October, with some rain that benefited the dryland olive groves, and extended until early January 2024.​
