Aroma: Excellent aromatic intensity and complexity, with notes of balsamic, spice, rockrose and wild fruit from the Douro. All in perfect harmony, resulting in a unique combination of great freshness, complexity and aromatic depth.

Palate: Exuberant start with great power and elegance, evolving into a wine with excellent volume, with a structure composed of compact tannins with a fresh texture. A wine full of identity that conveys the essence of its terroir. Finishes elegant, complex and very persistent.

Winemaking -    The grapes, from the northern vineyard, were carefully selected in the vineyard and transported to the winery in 20 kg boxes. They were then selected again on the sorting table, and after being destemmed, they were transferred to temperature-controlled stainless steel vats where they fermented for 7 days. After fermentation was complete, the wine remained in contact with the skins for a period of 10 days, after which it was gently pressed, separating the lagrima must from the press must.

Aging – 20 months in 225-liter French oak barrels. Final blend is the result of a selection of the best barrels
